Seminar of famous teachers of light and chemical industry (159): Research on nano catalytic materials based on interface

Author:Time:2020-11-07Hits:

Guest speaker: Hu Shi (Department of chemistry, Tianjin University)

Time: 10:00-12:00 am, October 21, 2020 (Wednesday)

Report location: gongsi-202

Report title: 1. Research on interface based nano catalytic materials

2.Research cloud: academic communication in mobile Internet Era

Summary of the reportUltra thin two-dimensional nanomaterials have been widely used in the fields of basic physics, electronics, energy storage and catalysis.Compared with graphene, molybdenum sulfide and other layered materials, a large number of non layered structure 2D nano materials can only be prepared by wet synthesis from bottom to top, and a large number of organic ligands will be introduced into the surface. This report introduces a strategy to realize the synthesis of two-dimensional oxides by regulating the interface between liquid metal and gas and liquid, and studies the electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide with these materials.

2.The spread of new coronavirus has brought global suspension, and many industries are forced to change their working methods.Online academic communication model represented by online education and video conference is quietly changing the face of the scientific community.Born on March 9, 2020, the "scientific research cloud" technology live platform has grown from scratch in a short period of six months. It has independently held more than 110 online academic lectures, and jointly organized dozens of science and technology forums with more than 20 societies and journals. It has attracted more than 50000 academic subscribers around the world, and has become the largest independent technology live broadcasting platform in China. What is the story behind the scientific research cloud? What are the new developments of academic communication in China and the world in the future? The co-founder of research cloud has something to say.

Personal profileHu Shi, born in Anqing, Anhui Province, received his doctor of Science degree from the Department of chemistry of Tsinghua University in 2012. He is now a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Department of chemistry of Tianjin University. He has been committed to the research of nano synthesis methods and heterogeneous catalysts for a long time, and has published 40 academic papers, including one book published in journals such as J am Chem SOC (3 papers), nano lett (2 papers), chem SOC rev, nano res, SCI China mate and other journals, and 20 corresponding author papers.Dr. Hu Shi was selected into the 2017 Tianjin high-level youth talent project and the 2019 Beiyang young scholar of Tianjin University. He was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Tianjin Natural Science Foundation and Sinopec major research projects.Served as reviewer of nano research, science China materials, ACS applied nano and other journals. He is an all English basic course "Organic Chemistry & Chemical Analysis" of Tianjin University, and "material physics and chemistry" for junior / postgraduate general course (played back from station B).

One of the founders of "scientific research cloud", China's largest live platform for scientific research.
