Our School Wins the Title of “2025 National Outstanding Teaching Team in Petroleum and Chemical Education”

Recently, the China Education Association of Chemical Industry announced the results of the 2025 National Outstanding Teaching Teams in Petroleum and Chemical Education. The Four Core Chemistry Teaching Team of the Basic Teaching Center of our School was awarded the title of “National Outstanding Teaching Team in Petroleum and Chemical Education”.This selection aims to implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the National Education Conference, in accordance with the “Outline of the Plan for Building a Leading Country in Education (2024–2035)”,recognizing outstanding individuals and teams contributing to the petrochemical industry, education quality improvement, and talent cultivation.

The Four Core Chemistry Teaching Team has long been responsible for teaching core courses such as Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry, providing solid theoretical foundations for students in life sciences, chemistry, environmental science, materials science, and emerging engineering disciplines. The teaching team closely aligns with national strategies and the University’s development goals, continuously advancing educational reform and building an integrated “teaching–research–industry–innovation” talent cultivation model. By strengthening theoretical foundations, broadening academic perspectives, promoting research-informed teaching, and enhancing engineering practice and innovation education, the team has significantly improved talent training quality. This award fully demonstrates the School’s strong foundation, continuous innovation capability, and comprehensive teaching strength in basic chemistry education.
