讲座题目：Microarray Approaches for Protein Profiling and Synthetic Fluorescent Probe Development

讲座内容： Chemical biology approaches have recently emerged as powerful and versatile tools to address a wide spectrum of biological problems. In this seminar, different microarray approaches for high-throughput protein profiling will be first presented. The approach allows us to perform systematic and extensive examination of the catalytic mechanism of different enzymes. The second part of the seminar will cover approaches for developing synthetic fluorescent probes. Several examples will be presented to illustrate how synthetic fluorescent probes are designed and utilized for biological investigation.

嘉宾简介：孙红燕，2003年毕业于武汉大学化学系，于同年获得新加坡国立大学研究生奖学金，并在姚少钦教授指导下开发不同多肽芯片技术实现对磷酸酶底物选择性的研究。2009 年，获德国洪堡奖学金并在马克思-普朗克分子生理研究所从事博士后研究工作。在Herbert Waldmann教授的指导下，从事蛋白质的化学修饰、天然产物的合成与生物活性测试。2011年，加入香港城市大学，开展独立科研工作，已发表国际论文40 篇。欢迎广大师生参加！
